INTERPRETING A RUNWAY TREND: WINTER WHITE

There's a lot of buzz online and in all of the fashion mags about Fall runway trends, and I think this season will bring us a lot of very wearable ideas.  Over the next couple of weeks, I want to give you some ways to translate some of what we've seen on the runway to everyday looks that you can wear for "real life" events.

Winter white.  You may have read my post about transitioning your summer wardrobe staples into the cooler temperatures, and I mentioned that there's no reason to pack up your white items until the Spring.  As long as the fabric isn't too light and summery, there are lots of ways to make white work all year 'round!  I am a huge fan of this head-to-toe white look, but I'm not opposed to breaking it up a bit, if you're feeling a bit too "marshmallow-y".

I have so many more ideas.  Imagine a cognac leather jacket or a classic camel coat.  Oooh, red looks lovely with cream.  So many ways to wear the winter white trend, so little time!  Get to it!
