TASSEL-MANIA (AND A GIVEAWAY)

If you follow me on Instagram, you know I've been talking a lot lately about jewelry.  I love jewelry of all kinds...costume, fine, antique, handmade...you name it.  I am constantly telling clients to add more jewelry to their collection.  It has a way of perking up an outfit that might otherwise seem pretty dull and can also be a relatively inexpensive way to add some color or try out a trend.

I am especially loving all of the fun tassel jewelry that's popping up these days (as evidenced by my collection at the top of this post). I've seen tassel jewelry that will take you from a business meeting to a cocktail party, made of materials varying from leather to silk to metal.

Another thing I'm loving is meeting (or "virtually" meeting) so many amazing people through this business.  I have learned so much about not only my Virginia community, but also about this community of creative entrepreneurs who are so supportive of one another.  And forget supportive -- people are freakin' talented!!  One such talented soul is Katie, owner of Sift with Style out of Williamsburg, VA.  Sift makes the most awesome tassel jewelry (and key chains, coming soon!)  I own several of her pieces and have recommended her to most of my clients, because she really has a way with combining colors!  The combos are often unexpected and always spot on!

Katie has graciously agreed to help me host a GIVEAWAY!  One lucky reader will win this Sift With Style necklace (or one of their other designs, if you prefer):

Coral and army green and cream...oh my!  Here's how I've styled it...so far:

You know you want it, so win it! Instagram users will need to follow both Sift with Style and me, and like my giveaway post to be entered.  You can also enter here on the blog by leaving a comment below.  If you enter via both Instagram and the blog, you're entered twice!  How nice.  Entries may be submitted until Thursday (10/22) at 11pm, and winner will be announced on Friday.

Go.
