COVER UP IN STYLE

I've recently realized just how much time I spend at the pool.  It's a lot.  When we're in town, we're there several times a week for swim team.  When we're visiting family in South Carolina, we often spend a couple of days swimming at our friends' pool.  When we go on vacation, it's usually to the beach, and we're in swimsuits most of the day.  I have some cute suits, but the problem is that I prefer to sit under an umbrella in the shade and watch everyone else splash around, so the suit itself is seen far less than what I'm wearing over it.  Until this year, I've always just thrown on an old t-shirt and a pair of shorts to cover up.  There's nothing wrong with that, but I see lots of people I know while wearing swim attire, so I decided to step it up a notch this year.

In my hunt for cute cover-ups, I found (and bought) a couple at Marshall's and Clementine (an amazing consignment store in Carytown).  I wanted to add a caftan style to the mix, and I've been searching endlessly online, only to find that the ones I love are too expensive for my budget. Well, today I hit the jackpot at World Market!  They have the greatest selection of cover-ups (including caftans), and best of all, they're very reasonably priced.  A lot are meant to be worn as dresses.  I love a dress that does double duty!  Take a look:

And the one I bought:

What do you wear to cover up?
