IS YOUR CLOSET MISSING METALLIC FLATS?

I have had clients from age 30 to age 70.  Some work in super-conservative corporate environments.  Some are teachers.  Some stay at home with children.  Some are retired.  And do you know what they all have in common?  A need for metallic flats.

I continue to be shocked that everyone doesn't already own a pair of these incredibly versatile shoes.  Not as "heavy" as a black shoe, metallics go with just about any color, especially if they are a pewter or bronze color, rather than bright silver or gold.  If you can only have one pair, choose a color that is more matte than shiny.  (But go ahead and get some shiny ones, too!)  Wear them year-round with skirts, dresses, ankle-length pants, shorts, jeans of any variety.  They come in a wide range of prices and can be incredibly comfortable, if you find the right ones.

Give me one good reason you shouldn't own a pair of metallic flats.  I dare you.

As a personal stylist in Richmond, VA, I strive to make wardrobe choices clear and easy for women who are short on time, overwhelmed by their closets, or transitioning from one period of life to another.  Let's connect!
