WINTER INTO SPRING

It's that weird time of year when all of the stores are highlighting their spring and resort looks, but there's snow in the foreseeable future.  You're probably also growing tired of your jeans and chunky sweaters, but it's way too soon to store those cozy knits.  Here's a way to have your cake, eat it too AND create two looks from one dress.

Winter Into Spring

Layer your sweaters over a floaty new spring dress!  Add tights, boots, maybe a hat, and you'll stay perfectly warm, while feeding your need to indulge in the new arrivals.  Try it with a maxi dress, too.  It seems they're not a dying trend!

FYI - This style tip also helps in the early fall, when you're trying to transition your summer wardrobe into the cooler weather.

As a personal stylist in Richmond, VA, I strive to make wardrobe choices clear and easy for women who are short on time, overwhelmed by their closets, or transitioning from one period of life to another.  Let's connect!

  1. I love all of these pieces! A great neutral sweater and pop of color, like that statement ring, would make great pieces to help transition from winter wear and bundled styles, to simple spring looks. I love these suggestions, Thank you for sharing!
