I realize that I'm late to this game.  I know the sale started eons ago and ends in less than a week.  I understand that every other blogger in the world has already written this exact blog post, and many of the "must have" items have already sold out.  The truth is that I went to Nordstrom and took a look around at the Anniversary Sale, and I was really uninspired.  It was a strange sensation.  I don't remember the last time I've been bored at Nordstrom...or at a sale.  Perhaps it was because it was 100 degrees outside and I was looking at wool vests and suede boots.  I don't know, but I walked away with nothing, nada, zilch.  Didn't even step foot in a dressing room.

Not one to accept shopping defeat gracefully, I hopped online to see if I could stomach anything from the comforts of my quiet, air-conditioned home, and (shocker!) I have several things in my shopping cart.  Some could be worn now, some later, and some both.  Here's a peek:

Rag & Bone "The Skinny" in Dearborn

Kate Spade "Spencer Court - Archie"

Nordstrom Fringe Collar Necklace

Rebecca Taylor "Alice" Silk Dress

Halogen Side Zip Ponte Pants

Vince Sleeveless Mesh Overlay Blouse

Echo Colorblock Knit Fringe Kimono

Caslon Textured Wool Wrap Scarf

Natori "Hidden Glamour" Bra

See?  I'd never let you down!  What do you think?  Do any of my picks suit your fancy?  Have you already purchased something from the sale?  I'd love to hear about it in the comments.
